The RAA project helps to select the optimal combination of devices in a bundle of headphones and sources (players, amplifiers, audio interfaces, etc.). The unique mechanism on the RAA website allows you to predict the result of the sound of another unknown bundle based on the sound of a familiar bundle (according to measured parameters).
Comparison with a "reference" in the context of the project name is not a comparison with a "best/hight standard", but a device known to the consumer as a starting point.
Online services are available on the site for selecting audio devices, direct comparison and evaluation of their compatibility. The information is adapted for both professionals and ordinary users. All devices are tested under the same conditions for the possibility of direct comparison.
At the moment, 2704 devices have been tested, available for comparison among themselves and in bundles.
Typical reports are created for each device by analogy with benchmarks of video cards and processors. These are both detailed structured reports for professionals and "simple" reports for dummies.
Some of the graphs and characteristics become available for direct comparison with previously tested devices. It becomes possible to build and compare joint graphs of bundles from "headphones + amplifier".
For wired headphones and devices with a headphone amplifier, automatic selection of optimal devices in conjunction with the original device is available.
