      Комментарий к оглавлению отчетов Yamaha YMF-724F (DS-1)
      Тест из под Windows 98, к эпохе которой эта карта относится. Большинство первых PCI карт бюджетного уровня были сделаны по стандарту AC'97 с единственной опорной частотой 48 кГц. Пересчет от 44.1 в 48 делал драйвер или аппаратно DSP и хоть у большинства карт был один и тот же кодек Sigmatel, звук у карт различался. Таким образом большая часть искажений не от кодека, а от ресемплинга.

      В данном случае был поставлен расширенный драйвер PowerYMF, в котором можно было включить более качественный ресемплинг. Но при воспроизведении звука через JetAudio 4.7 это не помогло.
