Measurements of xDuoo XD-05 Plus Hi Boost Off were carried out by Roman Kuznetsov on the hardware-software complex RAA.

The xDuoo XD-05 Plus Hi Boost Off test was conducted as a black box test, without regard to cost and prestige. This is the basic principle for making measurements, measurement reports and developing tests in RAA.

Hello, these are really technical graph, I've been here for at least two hours trying to understand. I just want to know how this xDuoo would behave with HD800s, which specs are 102dB/V @ 300Ohm.

The most loud mode of bundle (HD 800s and XD-05 Plus) is Hi Boost On.

xDuuo XD-05 Plus gives The best quality before 108.5 dB SPL (this level between sature color and light color) and it gives maximum volume level before 123.5 dB SPL.

To be fair I own the xDuoo XD05 Bal, but unfortunately, you don't have done any measurement.
In my mind it was a fair comparison between them two, but only then I aknowledged that the xDuoo XD05 Bal has way more Volt through the Balanced 4,4 Output, and also it has overral better sound quality. But I can't find exact output data over the web. So I'm still hoping it can drive HD800s at least at 90% of them potential. Power and quality wise.
If you have any idea regard how xDuoo 05 Bal would sound with HD800s it would be awesome.
My problem is that I can only own a portable Amp, but I'd really like to own a pair of HD800s as well, so I'm kinda stuck.
If you have any opinion or suggestion, a portable DAC/Amp that can do the job with the HD800s for example, that would be extremely appreciated.
