Measurements of Shanling M2s were carried out by Roman Kuznetsov on the hardware-software complex RAA.

The Shanling M2s test was conducted as a black box test, without regard to cost and prestige. This is the basic principle for making measurements, measurement reports and developing tests in RAA.

I believe that it is important to do not make an absolute assessment of the device, but an aggregate assessment when working together with a headphones and taking into account external factors. This allows you to effectively reveal the potential of the entire set of devices or to make a more optimal choice of components.

Комментарий к профессиональному отчету Shanling M2s FiiO X5-III Neutron 16 bit
Если к Fiio X5-III подключить Shanling M2s (при этом аппараты примерно одного уровня и это явно гитотетическая, а не реальная связка), то с использованием плеера Neutron звуковой поток напрямую не выйдет.

Hi-Rez срежется до 20 кГц + транкейт в виде различных искажений. С учетом регулировки уровня громкости на Shaling M2s эти искажения не сильно будут заметны, но они явно лишние в данном случае.
