The frequency response of the headphones depends on the measurement stands used.

The frequency response of the headphones can be estimated both in RAW mode to the target curve and in compensated mode.

The target curve consists of a base curve and additional correction curves.

The second graph shows the recommended setting for the equalizer for the selected target curve.

Main target curve

For HDM-X, the Target Curve for RAA v1 headphones is used as the base target curve, obtained on the basis of a separate study in the Reference Audio Analyzer.

Since 2024, all headphones are measured on the head of the founder of the RAA project and in some cases on the head of the owners of the headphones as part of an individual calibration.The stand for live measurements is called both Human + Human identifier. Such a measurement has not yet been performed for ASUS ROG Strix Fusion 700, but if possible, such a measurement will be added. Such measurements show the low-frequency and mid-frequency range most accurately, since they take into account the real pressure of the ear pads and damping of the real head. The high-frequency range in this measurement is less accurate, because it depends on the fit of the microphone in the ear.

Комментарий к оглавлению отчетов ASUS ROG Strix Fusion 700

Интересно, насколько такие наушники отстают от аналогичных без ЦАП, но с USB ЦАП вроде xDuoo XD-05 и т.п.? По идее такие наушники очень удобны для использования с ноутбуком, который постоянно с собой.

Здравствуйте, Роман, у меня возник вопрос по поводу методологии измерения характеристик, в частности, касающихся АЧХ наушников, скажите пожалуйста представленные графики это результат измерения на макете типа "голова с ушами", то есть измерительный микрофон расположен на месте барабанной перепонки и ушной канал, и ушная раковина имеют анатомическую структуру?
В случае если это так, то мы имеем возможность ознакомиться с результирующей АЧХ, конкретной модели?

Да, изиерения проводятся на стенде типа "голова с ушами". Используется HDM-X

Ушная раковина здесь - некое усредненное ухо из мягкого материала. Микрофон для измерений полноразмерных наушников расположен у входа в ушной канал. Это позволяет не делать отдельную HRTF компенсацию.

Для внутриканальных наушников используется отдельный стенд, HDM-X с внутриканальными наушниками в качестве примера приводится для красоты. Часть фото были сделаны во время экспериментов со сменными ушными раковинами под полноразмерные и внутриканальные наушники.

Здесь "О стендах с ушными раковинами и расположении микрофона" показаны варианты от расположения микрофона. Я подбирал такое расположение, что бы влияние от ушной раковины было, но не было от канала.
