The test shows a change in the frequency response of headphones when connected to amplifiers whose output impedance is constant in the operating frequency range. The change in frequency response depends on the impedances of the headphones and the amplifier.

Variants of amplifiers with resistances are selected for analysis: 10, 20, 50, 100 and 300 ohms. In the comparison service, you can select any measured amplifiers or use the function tools to set your amplifier by parameters.

The impedance of the amplifier can be of different sizes and, when matched with the impedance of the headphones, the frequency response changes to varying degrees. The lower the output impedance of the amplifier and the higher the impedance of the headphones, the smaller the changes. If the impedance of the amplifier and headphones is flat lines, then there are no changes in the frequency response.

The change in frequency response is gustatory in nature, as an additional equalization or timbre adjustment, leveling or coloring the final sound of the headphones.
